Episode 232: Sarah Anderson

My good friend, Sarah Anderson, came back on the show. If you’ve been listening to the show for a while, then you will know her name. She’s been on the show two others times over the past couple of years. Today, I am excited to talk about her new book The Space Between Us: How Jesus Teaches Us to Live Together When Politics and Religion Pull Us Apart. She has a unique connection to politics and religion. Her dad ran for President in the 2000 election season and everyone in her family has had a career in politics and her career has been spent in the religious world. She knows firsthand what its like to navigate the waters of politics and religion which can be so divisive.

In this episode, we talk about why she was compelled to write a book about such hard topics like politics and religion, how to navigate fear when it comes to voting, and how to remain connected to people you love when positions change or are different. This conversation comes at the perfect time.
